Rheumatolgy |
| The scope of rheumatology not only includes disorders of locomotor system but also the involvement of other systems which increases the morbidity of the rheumatic problem. Patients are referred to Rheumatolgy Clinic of the Department of Health which is held on Saturdays in D.H. for locals and on Mondays in AMH Centre. |

The rhematological problems that treated at the Rheumatology Unit are:
- Polyarthritis of unknown oetiology
- Connective tissue disorders (collagen diseases)
- Degenerative joint diseases
- Non articular rheumatisms – Eg.
- Arthritis associated with a known infectious agents : Bacteria, viral, Rickettsial - fungal – parasitic
- Traumatic and neurogenic disorders
- Disease with which arthritis is frequently associated :
- Other diseases causing arthritis
- Drugs and allergens : Eg. Serum sickness and Hydralazine Syndrome.
