Anesthesia |
| This Department is playing an important role for providing proper and good medical care for patients in Rashid hospital. The anesthesia team performs all types of Anesthesia (regional, general and conscious sedation), including the pre-anesthetic assessment and preparation of patients in coordination with others teams and specialties. They are responsible for providing a proper preoperative and post-operative care. |

The radiological services which include:
- The anaesthesia team in coordination with Emergency Critical Care Department (ECCD) Team, manages the respiratory and mechanical ventilation in Intensive Care Unit-ICU (16 beds), Intensive Care Unit in the Infectious Disease Unit (IDU) (2 beds) and in the Coronary care Unit (CCU) (12 beds).
- Transporting any critically ill patient for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures inside or outside the hospital.
- Providing educational programs for the hospital staff regarding:
- - CPR & Airway management
- - Care for Critical ill patients
- - And post operative care
