| The central headquarters of the Department of Health and Medical Services provides administrative and financial services to hospital, Primary Health Care, and other institutions that belong to it. These services include preparing health care policies for the Emirate of Dubai, planning for future health services based on vital statistics, provision of medical facilities and equipment, distribution of health cards, licensing of private health care institutions and their personnel in Dubai, and, when necessary arranging to send patients for treatment abroad. |
